The resolution that I created for the year of 2019 is to start focusing more on my academics and to become more knowledgeable about colleges that I am looking forward to attending after I graduate. Being a part of college tours and college fairs are among the things that I have set on the agenda for this year. I was so unaware of how close to an adult I am and that it’s time to buckle down on being more accountable for myself. I know that entering the mindset of college students and getting familiar with the surroundings of a college campus is something that I look forward to. However, the main goal that I am striving to achieve is remaining an honor student and becoming a certified driver in the state of Alabama.

In order to accomplish these objectives I will be talking to college students about their college experience and I will also be signing up for college school newspaper to also help me get an understanding about the college and campus life. More so, to maintain the status that I currently have I will be working extra hard and being more persistent this year. I look at my goals as dreams that keep getting bigger. I want to achieve my dreams because I know that it would set and positive light upon myself and I would become a role model for the next generation and more.

My life revolves around being the best I can be and being above and beyond everything and I know that this year will be the year that it will all start. Completing these goals will assure me that I am a responsible individual and that “no weapon formed against me shall prosper.” Despite my knowledge of how quickly a year passes, I know that the goals I have set and much more will be accomplished. I know this year will be my golden year, my best year and most unforgettable year in my life.
