On April 12th, Judson College in Marion, AL hosted the 10th grade GEAR UP Alabama students from RC Hatch High School in Uniontown, AL. The GUA students were able to attend two sessions taught by the Judson Education Department teacher candidates, the content of the sessions following the CAMP curriculum. While on campus, they were also able to tour the college, including a visit to the science labs where they were able to spend time with Dr. Wilson of Judson. They had an outstanding time getting to tour the campus!

Before they left for the day, the students spent time with Susan Jones, the Dean of Students and Director of Faith-Based Learning at Judson. During their time with the dean, she was able to help the students navigate what questions to ask when visiting colleges and speak about the importance of community service.

The GUA students had a great time at Judson earlier this month, but even more so, Judson had a great time hosting the students from RC Hatch!
